Just Another Day at the Office…

… Microsoft style, that is

January was our first official meeting at the new meeting site. Over one hundred folks showed up on a beautiful Saturday afternoon to hear Microsoft’s Elizabeth Collet present Microsoft Office.

After showing us the suite of applications that make up MS Office, Elizabeth drew the magic numbers of three lucky winners of MS Office software packages. David Almada, Perry Ramser, and John Freeman (ain’t he the guy that passes out the numbers?) walked out with smiles. We also gave away Corel Photo CD, a screenie and an Excel quick reference book to Milton Blackstone, Stuart Smiler and Sidney Weisblat. Two other numbers were drawn, but unfortunately the owners of those numbers were not there to claim their prizes. When you get a ticket, be sure to stay for the end of the meeting. You could be one of the lucky winners!

You definitely won’t want to miss our February presentation – Intuit guru Richard Katz will show us Quicken, QuickBooks, and TurboTax. Until then…
